Grupo Iberpapel<\/span>‘s net profit amounted to \u20ac9.1 <\/span>million in 2014, <\/span>marking growth of <\/span>25.27% <\/span>from <\/span>2013, <\/span>despite the adverse imp<\/span>act of the recently passed electricity sector <\/span>reforms<\/span>. EBITDA<\/span>, meanwhile<\/span>, was \u20ac<\/span>26.2 million<\/span>, up 19.97% from 2013.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Revenue from sales declined 4.59% <\/span>year<\/span>-on<\/span>-year to \u20ac<\/span>200.1 <\/span>million<\/span>. The topline <\/span>contraction was driven by a 29.02<\/span>% decline in revenue from electricity sales<\/span>. <\/span><\/span><\/span>The improvement in Grupo Iberpapel<\/span>‘s profitability is attributable to the notably <\/span>streamlined cost structure and significant growth in pulp (+<\/span>12<\/span>%) <\/span>and paper (+<\/span>8%) <\/span>production. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
